IPTV Setup Checklist for Samsung, LG and Android TVs
Before setting up IPTV on a Samsung, LG or Android TV, verify the exact TV model, operating system and current player download availability. Then confirm the login method for your Strong8K account. A platform name alone does not guarantee compatibility, and a player subscription or activation does not include a content subscription.
1. Check the television against current download information
IBO ONE, DUPLEX PRO, ORA PRO, GRAVITY PLAYER and KEMET PLAYER advertise Samsung Tizen 2016+, LG webOS 3.0+, Android TV and Fire TV support. ORA PLAYER advertises Android, iOS, LG and Roku. These are advertised platforms, not verified compatibility for every television; Android advertising alone should not be treated as confirmation for a particular Android TV.
- Record your TV model and operating system version, not just its brand.
- Use the player page's developer links to check the official download page.
- Check whether the relevant download is available now; several downloads are marked coming soon.
2. Prepare the TV and check its connection
Restart the television and check for system updates before beginning. Test its network connection independently of the IPTV login. Wi-Fi can be affected by obstacles and interference, so a connection problem should not automatically be attributed to the player or subscription.
- Note whether other network activity on the TV also fails or becomes unstable.
- Where supported, compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet while leaving the player and account unchanged.
- If using Wi-Fi, assess router placement and obstacles before changing multiple settings at once.
- On Android TV, keep Play Protect protections enabled when obtaining apps.
3. Assemble the correct setup information
Ask support which login format your Strong8K account uses; do not assume M3U or Xtream-style access. Confirm that the selected player accepts that method. The player page also provides a device-linking panel and seven-day player trials, which are separate from content access.
- Have the supplied account details ready without displaying them in shared photographs.
- Follow the selected app's device-linking instructions rather than another player's guide.
- Verify player activation and content subscription status as two separate checks.
4. Run a controlled first-playback check
Open content you are authorized to access and identify whether any failure occurs during sign-in, list loading or playback. Keep the same content and account while testing one change at a time. Neither the Strong 8K name nor successful installation guarantees 8K output.
- Record the player name, TV model, software version and exact error for support.
- Restart or update before attempting a full reset.
- Understand that clearing app data removes settings, unlike clearing cache; retain a secure way to recover setup details.
